We are conveinently located on the South River, Edgewater Maryland.
South River Boat Rentals was fantastic! The process was quick and easy, they were super helpful getting us on board and out on the water, and the bimini top was a great extra for our rainy day! They are located on a great part of the river with plenty of wide open space, close to gas, too! We will definitely be booking with them again soon!
We rented the 26 foot boat and it was perfect! Our captain Ian knew how to take us anywhere we wanted to go. It was kind of rainy out but fortunately our boat had a cover. Ian took us to a good swimming spot when the weather cleared up. Overall it was a fun day!
This will mostly depend on your party size and your activities. For 6 or less people the Kencraft and Hurricane boats will be a good fit. For up to 10 people choose the Everglades or Chaparral. For twelve people, the Viking, Trawler, Bennington, and Tritoon will be good fits. Lastly, if you have a larger party of up to 30 people, you will need to book the Carmen.
For the smaller boats, you do not need a captain, but you are welcome to book one if you prefer. The Viking, Trawler, and Carman all require a captain.
Yes! You can add on watersports equipment. You can add on water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, or knee boarding. The costs are $40 for 1 and $60 for 2.
